Wal-Mart to Offer Lowest-Cost Healthcare
Wal-Mart is planning to add clinics to offer "the lowest cost primary healthcare service."
This is a trendline I have talked about in classes since 2007.....
From Wall Street Journal 11/10/11...
"Wal-mart has a new plan to conquer the world by becoming "the largest provider of primary health-care services in the nation."
IMPLICATION: People will be paying for more care out of pocket, and customer satisfaction with service will go down.OPPORTUNITY: Have a practice model which builds strong relationships based on providing service and value to those people now.
