What is the best stretch for a sore tailbone?

This is not clinical advice, but things some have tried with success:

  1. Reduce swelling with ice–lying on your back with a soft gel pack under your tailbone, gently “tuck your tail” down and then arch your back to create motion.
  2. Add breathing to it, breathing in as you arch and out as you tuck. Then firmly pull your belly in as you tuck, relaxing as you arch.
  3. Then try same, but move gently side to side, pressing the tailbone into the gel pack.
