While dining with Dr. Weiniger after the University of Western States seminar in Portland, Dr. Mark Blessley and his wife, Valerie, shared with him this ceramic likeness of Dr. Blessley:
Valerie, an art teacher, created this little statue in the fashion of the Native American storyteller custom. According to the tradition, one creates an image of a person, the storyteller, with his three favorite “stories.”
