Not getting enough sleep can make you fat…and possibly old.

A new study showed that not getting enough sleep hurts the ability of fat cells to respond to insulin efficiently. Bottom line of this small study: you retain lbs when you skip ZZZs.

And according to study co-author Matthew Brady when seven thin, young, healthy twenty-somethings got only 4.5 hours of sleep, after just four days, “it is the equivalent of metabolically aging [participants] 10 to 20 years.”
